

Wirraka Maya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation is a community controlled Aboriginal health service providing holistic health care to Aboriginal peoples in Port Hedland, South Hedland and surrounding communities.
About the role:
Reporting to the COO you will lead a multidisciplinary NDIS team including the NDIS Coordinator, Support Workers and Support Coordinator.
This critical leadership role is responsible for strategy, operational performance, compliance, financial sustainability and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibility:
• Lead and implement the NDIS strategy aligned to the WMHSAC Strategic Plan
• Manage budgets, labour targets and financial forecasts
• Ensure accurate and timely NDIS invoicing and revenue capture
• Oversee compliance, reporting, audits and accreditation requirements
• Establish and monitor KPIs across financial, operational and quality metrics
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team
• Manage complex case escalations
• Build strong partnerships with local providers and community stakeholders
About You:
You are an experienced in disability services leader who combines strong commercial capability with a genuine commitment to person-centred outcomes.
Essential Criteria:
• Qualification in Disability Services (or similar)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in disability services
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Extensive knowledge of the NDIS framework
• Proven experience managing service delivery performance and budgets
• Strong reporting, compliance and governance capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities
• Valid WA Working with Children Check
• Valid NDIS Screening
• National Police Clearance
• Current Drivers Licence
