About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead and deliver a comprehensive HR function across the organisation. This is a key leadership role, working closely with the CEO, COO and Senior Management Team to shape organisational strategy, drive workforce capability, and foster a positive workplace culture. You will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, WHS, and organisational development, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Drive workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and succession planning initiatives
- Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary matters
- Oversee HR systems, records, and compliance with awards and legislation
- Manage workplace health and safety systems, risk management, and workers compensation
- Lead organisational development, culture, and employee engagement initiatives
- Prepare HR reports and contribute to organisational performance reporting
- Support quality improvement activities and accreditation requirements
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Coordinate and lead corporate services team functions
- Utilise and optimise HRIS platforms, including Employment Hero, to streamline HR and payroll processes and reporting
About You
You are a strategic and hands-on HR leader with a strong understanding of contemporary human resource practices. You are confident advising senior leaders and managing complex people matters, while also driving continuous improvement across systems and culture.
Selection Criteria
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated business understanding supported by relevant qualifications and/or experience
- Proven experience across HR functions, including employee relations, workforce planning, and compliance
- Knowledge of legislation, awards, and industrial relations frameworks
- Experience in performance management, organisational development, and change management
- Experience using HR information systems, including Employment Hero - desirable
- Ability to work autonomously, show initiative, and lead teams effectively
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Commitment to professional development and quality improvement
