We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our global team at World Courier, leading complex projects that drive real impact across the business.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role working closely with senior stakeholders, including VP level, where you’ll take ownership of projects from initiation through to delivery. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong focus on digital and organisational transformation.
You’ll be part of a globally distributed team, supporting initiatives that span multiple regions, functions, and stakeholders, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of global projects, from initiation through to completion
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, typically overseeing two or more initiatives at any given time
Partner closely with senior stakeholders (COO, VP and leadership teams) to drive alignment and progress
Work collaboratively with IT Project Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver digital and transformation initiatives
Apply structured project management approaches, using established tools, frameworks and governance models (VMO methodology)
Identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues effectively, always with a solution-focused mindset
Prepare and present project updates, business cases, and progress reports to senior leadership
Build strong working relationships across the organisation to support delivery and drive engagement
Work Experience:
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, delivering complex projects end-to-end
Strong experience managing global or cross-functional projects, ideally within digital or organisational transformation environments
Confident managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
Experience working alongside IT teams or delivering projects with a digital/technology focus
Strong understanding of project governance, tools, and delivery frameworks
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and effectively to senior audiences
Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and risk management
Professional project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile)
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Skills and Knowledge:
Experience in change management
Exposure to shared service environments or global operations
