The Role
Our Chelsea Heights site is located in Melbourne’s south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year!
The role is responsible for leading, coaching DC team members and overseeing daily warehouse/transport activities to ensure an efficient and cost-effective operation. The incumbent is required to work Monday to Friday from 5AM to 1PM.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop DC team capability, aligning daily activities with the broader business plan to achieve safety, cost, quality, and customer service targets.
Manage inventory, stock handling processes, and ensure accurate stock levels.
Build and maintain strong operational relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (e.g: team members, 3rd party logistic partner, etc…).
Manage and report on key KPIs including inbound service levels, lead times, compliance, labour, and dispatch performance.
Cost management while promoting team engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
About you
Hands-on leadership experience and ideally working in a FMCG supply chain environment or cold-chain networks
Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Principles) compliant warehouse (preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills – process-based decision making and conflict solution
Excellent leadership skill – ability to coach and influence team members
Computer literacy (Microsoft Words, Excels, Outlook, SAP, etc)
