Position Summary
To lead and manage the operations and maintenance of industrial services including plant, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure high efficiency, reliability, quality, and compliance. The role is responsible for continuous improvement, asset management, team capability building, and ensuring safety and environmental standards are upheld to support production needs.
A Day in the Life…
- Plan, perform, and manage design, modification, and improvements to industrial services plant, equipment, and infrastructure within area of expertise.
- Lead operations of industrial services to ensure high efficiency, reliability, water and energy optimization, quality, and compliance.
- Assist in budgeting and cost monitoring of industrial services.
- Execute planned preventive and corrective maintenance of utilities to ensure 100% availability and reliability to support production.
- Analyze breakdowns using RCA and DMAIC tools and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Manage quality, environmental, and compliance requirements for industrial services through effective management and monitoring processes.
- Support and participate in the competence building plan (CBP) for the operations team, building competencies in thermal, refrigeration, water, and power operations.
- Assist with technical training programs for factory maintenance staff.
- Ensure process and personnel safety from design through routine and periodic safety inspections and audits.
- Identify and drive energy and water saving opportunities in industrial services.
What Will Make You Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant industrial services experience in boilers, air heaters, refrigeration systems, water management, and power generation.
- Knowledge of quality, environmental, and safety compliance standards.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to maintenance and operations management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial services engineering, operations, and maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with steam and ammonia system operation and maintenance.
- Proven personnel supervision skills including managing operations and maintenance teams, contractors, or third parties.
- Experience or exposure to system design, development, erection, commissioning, and support environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills using RCA and DMAIC methodologies.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
