About the team
Financial Controlling and Analysis (FC&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency.
About the role
Ensure smooth and accurate month-end close activities, including the timely and accurate submission of financial and statutory reports
Prepare journal entries and support reconciliation processes while ensuring compliance with PCAOB requirements and proper documentation standards
Prepare financial and statutory reports and support the execution of statutory reporting processes
Partner closely with the RTR team to ensure legal entity financial statements accurately and completely reflect business operations
Provide technical accounting guidance and support within the Financial Controlling team
Support business decision-making through financial controlling analyses and insights
Ensure financial and statutory processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines, while maintaining compliance with internal (CARM) and external control requirements
Interpret, implement, and communicate Group Accounting and Reporting requirements across the Financial Control team and relevant GBO stakeholders
Support the FAC process by preparing analyses and contributing to the completion of reporting activities
Promote adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance standards while acting as a trusted advisor to GBO group function teams
About you
Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business
Qualified accountant
4-5 years’ experience in relevant area
Experience working within an international / multicultural environment
Exemplary Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)
Strong Financial Controlling knowledge (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)
Strong analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level message, offering solutions for issues
Fluent English knowledge
