Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems, equipment, and manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for developing innovative engineering solutions, supporting product development, and ensuring designs meet performance, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and experience collaborating across multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support the manufacturing, installation, and implementation of mechanical components, systems, and equipment
- Analyze mechanical, operational, and design-related issues and develop effective engineering solutions
- Conduct testing, experiments, and performance evaluations to improve existing products and support new design initiatives
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and models using CAD software
- Create and review engineering specifications, calculations, and technical documentation
- Estimate project budgets, engineering hours, material requirements, and project timelines
- Prepare operating instructions, technical manuals, and documentation for production and operations teams
- Ensure designs, equipment, and processes comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Support design reviews, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with project managers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to support successful project execution
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup activities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, or industrial engineering environments
- Proficiency with CAD software for mechanical design and drafting
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles
- Experience performing engineering calculations, design analysis, and problem-solving activities
- Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional project environments
Experience Levels
- Level I: 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Level II: 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Level III: 5–10 years of relevant experience
- Level IV: 10+ years of relevant experience
- Level V: 20+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Experience supporting capital projects, industrial manufacturing, automation, energy, or infrastructure environments
- Experience with FEA, CFD, simulation tools, or advanced engineering analysis software
- Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, or field engineering activities
