Role Overview
The Business Analyst serves as the critical bridge between the Operations domain and the Digital Transformation & AI team. This role is responsible for understanding complex operational workflows across Order Management, Procurement, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Support functions, and translating them into clear, actionable requirements that drive technology and AI-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Process Analysis
• Elicit, document, and manage business requirements from stakeholders across Operations functions
• Conduct current-state process mapping and gap analysis to identify automation and AI opportunities
• Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Analyse operational data and metrics to support business case development
Stakeholder Engagement
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with Operations SMEs, process owners, and end-users
• Act as the primary liaison between Operations teams and technical delivery teams
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress on transformation initiatives
Solution Design & Validation
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Scientists to design solutions that meet business needs
• Define and execute UAT plans, ensuring solutions align with documented requirements
• Support change management activities including training material development and user adoption
Continuous Improvement
• Monitor post-implementation performance and identify further optimisation opportunities
• Maintain a backlog of improvement opportunities across the Operations value chain
• Contribute to the development of BA standards, templates, and frameworks
Qualifications & Experience
• 2–5 years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in Operations or Supply Chain environments
• Proficiency in process modelling tools (BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart)
• Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Strong analytical skills with familiarity in SQL or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for data-driven analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, D365) is highly advantageous
• Exposure to AI/ML projects or RPA implementations is a plus
