The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced administrator to join our Business Operations team in a permanent full-time capacity. This role is based from KU’s Central Office in Sydney CBD, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid arrangement that includes working from home.
The Business Operations Administrator provides administrative support across KU services, including Long Day Care, Preschool and Kindergarten programs. You will work closely with both Central Office teams and service-based staff to support the effective and efficient operation of KU services, contributing to organisational objectives and strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities include managing enrolments through XAP, data entry, responding to service and family enquiries, managing shared inboxes, and processing fees in accordance with family assistance law, Child Care Subsidy requirements and relevant State funding guidelines. This role requires strong organisational capability, attention to detail and a high level of customer service.
The position is 8 hours per day Monday to Friday and includes a monthly Rostered Day Off. You will have the opportunity to Work From home 3 days and be based in our York Street Central Office 2 days each week.

• Current Police Check
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of customer service and professionalism
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple systems and platforms
• Confidence working with data, enrolments and fee processing
• Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships
• A collaborative, flexible and solutions-focused approach
• Previous administrative experience and/or a relevant qualification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
