We seek a meticulous, commercially astute, and customer-focused Boutique Commercial Manager (BCM) to spearhead operational excellence at our luxury jewellery boutique. This position plays a crucial role in boosting sales performance, maintaining adherence to stock and process standards, and enhancing the client experience within a sophisticated and elegant retail environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Boutique Operations & Compliance
- Manage daily operational activities, ensuring full compliance with SOPs for stock management, billing, documentation, and reporting.
- Ensure the boutique consistently meets brand standards along with safety and hygiene requirements.
- Keep all records up-to-date for audits, stock movements, and internal reconciliations.
- Guarantee timely restocking and precise tagging of all merchandise.
2. Inventory & Stock Management
- Oversee daily stock counts at opening and closing, verifying discrepancies together with the Store Manager.
- Perform bi-weekly internal audits and resolve any inconsistencies.
- Handle inventory transfers, movements, and repairs by coordinating with warehouse or supply chain teams as necessary.
- Reduce dead stock by conducting proactive inventory assessments and rotation.
3. Sales & Commercial Coordination
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and Floor Manager to help meet boutique sales objectives.
- Monitor key commercial indicators such as sell-through rates, stock-to-sales ratios, and category-specific performance.
- Assist the Store Manager in promoting marketing campaigns, clienteling efforts, and encouraging luxury sales behaviors.
4. Team Development & Support
- Provide guidance to junior team members on compliance with processes, system operations, and product knowledge.
- Facilitate training on POS systems, stock management software, and operational procedures.
- Serve as the commercial support center for the boutique, enabling sales associates to concentrate on delivering excellent client service.
5. Customer Experience & Support
- Ensure smooth backend coordination throughout high-value transactions and custom order processing.
- Supervise the documentation process for repairs, returns, exchanges, buybacks, and advance bookings.
- Address customer inquiries regarding receipts, invoices, product follow-ups, and service documentation.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in boutique or store operations, ideally within luxury jewellery, watches, or premium fashion sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control, reconciliation procedures, and stock auditing.
- Proficient in POS systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work effectively under pressure, and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Fluency in English and the local language (Hindi for Delhi).
- Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and extended store hours as required.
