Description
We are looking for an experienced and strategically minded
Head of Facilities to take full accountability for the performance, development, compliance, and future evolution of our estates, facilities, infrastructure, and site services operations.
This role is critical in ensuring our operational environment consistently supports elite performance, innovation, and competitive excellence at the highest level of motorsport. You will lead the development and delivery of a long-term Facilities & Estates Strategy that ensures our campus, utilities, buildings, and services remain safe, compliant, efficient, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a long-term Estates & Facilities Strategy aligned to organisational growth and performance objectives.
- Lead all facilities, estates, infrastructure, utilities, and site services operations across owned and leased properties.
- Ensure full compliance with all legal, environmental, HSE, and regulatory requirements, including ISO standards and company policies.
- Drive campus planning, space optimisation, and infrastructure capability to support future expansion and operational demands.
- Lead the successful delivery of capital projects, refurbishments, acquisitions, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Oversee all hard and soft facilities services, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Manage operational and capital budgets, contracts, service providers, and supplier performance to maximise value and service delivery.
- Collaborate with Health & Safety teams to champion a proactive HSE culture and integrated management systems.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams across facilities, engineering, estates, and support services.
- Act as the senior authority on all Facilities & Estates matters, influencing stakeholders and supporting business-critical operational performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience developing and implementing long-term facilities, estates, or infrastructure strategies within complex operational environments.
- Strong leadership background managing multidisciplinary teams across facilities management, engineering, plant operations, and soft services.
- Demonstrated success delivering capital projects, refurbishments, relocations, and infrastructure programmes on time and within budget.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility at senior leadership level.
- Deep understanding of hard services, critical infrastructure, manufacturing/test environments, utilities, and building systems.
- Strong knowledge of HSE, environmental, energy, and legal compliance requirements, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 standards.
- Experience managing contracts, external suppliers, leases, and operational risk within fast-paced technical environments.
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Facilities, Estates, Engineering, or Building Management; NEBOSH qualification and IWFM/BIFM membership desirable.
