

Performs direct athletic training services to patients in accordance with generally accepted athletic training standards, State of Maryland Athletic Training Practice Act, code of ethics, and departmental procedures for Orthopedic Hand and Shoulder surgeons. Under the supervision of a physician, and in accordance with the quality standards of the department, provides one-on-one clinic care as needed; and other duties as assigned.

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
