REQ14647 Senior Manager, Supply Chain (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Senior Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for developing, planning, executing, and maintaining all sourcing initiatives for the supply chain functions, focusing on procurement of products and services for new and renovation projects of various scales. Continuously improves and re-evaluates sourcing activities of the assigned category, assist in developing a strategic vendor management partnership and represents the company in all dealings and negotiations with the suppliers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Develop and execute strategies for supply chain functions to aggressively reduce cost of key products and services, reduce material lead time and inventory requirements and associated working capital needs.
- Identify potential suppliers, solicit bids, negotiate to secure optimum terms for assigned categories with suppliers.
- Works closely with designers to understand the creative vision and technical requirements.
- Research and source for furnishings, lighting, fabric and carpets. Gather details on cost, samples and lead time.
- Compiles installation guides and follows up on furnishing implementation.
- Strong skill in budgeting, scheduling and multitasking are critical.
- Deep understanding of products, vendors, manufacturing and logistics processes.
- Excellent skills for vendor management, client relations and cross-team collaboration.
- Create integrated processes among Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and external suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, and ensure all staffs are adequately trained.
- Provide support to key stakeholders to achieve company and functional goals.
- Prepare and review bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for price and commercial terms.
- Oversee all activities related to procurement of commodities, from intent to purchase through delivery.
- Lead the negotiation on complex requests for equipment, products, and services with suppliers.
- Ensure the team and business units compliance with Supply Chain policies and procedures.
- Assist the business in handling new development opportunities both within and outside of Macau.
- Proactively manages changes
- Other duties as assigned from time to time by the management.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience
- At least 10 years’ experience in supply chain with at least 8 years’ experience in a management role.
- Extensive sourcing and project management experience, preferably with global exposure.
- Preferably in hospitality, gaming, large restaurant chains and/or supermarket chains environments.
- Extensive souring experience in procurement of marketing and promotions category and/or IT category with global procurement experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing techniques to provide cost savings while maintaining quality
- Excellent business, financial and negotiating skills.
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
- Highly developed analytical thinking, understanding and application of logical and analytical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Bi-lingual in English and Cantonese is an advantage; a working knowledge of Mandarin would also be advantageous.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
- Knowledge of world class sourcing tools and experience in implementing them.
Education
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications, major in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related disciplines.
- Recognized professional accreditation, CPM or CPSM.
