REQ14648 Manager, Supply Chain (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist Senior Manager, Supply Chain to plan, develop, execute and manage strategic sourcing initiatives for the supply chain functions including procurement of marketing related products & services such as events, public relations, advertising, entertainment, marketing installations, collaterals, gifts aiming at cost reduction and process improvement as well as managing vendors effectively. Train, develop, mentor and assist subordinates and all departments that fall within the supply chain process.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Develop and execute strategies for supply chain functions to aggressively reduce cost of key supplies and services, reduce material & service lead times and inventory requirements and associated working capital needs.
- Identify needs and high-quality suppliers in the market, soliciting bids, reviewing bids and selecting suppliers, negotiating and awarding contracts.
- Create integrated processes among Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process.
- Provide leadership to the Procurement Team, mentoring and ensuring all staffs are adequately trained.
- Partner with other departments such as Marketing, F&B, Hotel Operations, Entertainments, etc. to achieve company and functional goals.
- Prepare, review and renew trade agreements, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for price and acceptability of items.
- Oversee all activities related to procurement of commodities, from intent to purchase through delivery.
- Lead the negotiation on complex requests for equipment, products, and services with suppliers.
- Ensure the team and business units compliance with Supply Chain policies and procedures and company’s rules and regulations.
- Assist the business in handling new development opportunities both within and outside of Macau.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time by the management.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience
- At least 10 years’ experience in supply chain with at least 5 years’ experience in a management role.
- Preferably in hospitality, gaming, large restaurant chains or integrated resort environments.
- Extensive sourcing and project management experience in procurement of Marketing category and with global procurement experience is preferred.
- Extensive sourcing experience in China is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing techniques to provide cost savings while maintaining quality
- Excellent business, financial and negotiating skills.
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
- Highly developed analytical thinking, understanding and application of logical and analytical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is an advantage
- Strong working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
- Knowledge of world class sourcing tools and experience in implementing them.
Education
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications, major in Business Administration or Supply Chain.
- Recognized professional accreditation, CPM or CPSM.
