REQ14649 Manager, Supply Chain (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Manager, Supply Chain is required to plan, develop, execute and manage strategic sourcing initiatives for the supply chain functions focusing on procurement of IT software, products, materials, parts, supplies, equipment and services aiming at cost reduction and process improvement as well as managing vendor effectively; and to train, develop, mentor and assist subordinates in all of the departments that fall within the supply chain process.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute strategies for supply chain functions to aggressively reduce cost of key products and services, reduce material lead times and inventory requirements and associated working capital needs.
- Identify potential suppliers, solicit bids, negotiate to secure optimum terms for assigned categories with suppliers.
- Lead and mentor the team.
- Provide support to key stakeholders to achieve company and functional goals.
- Oversee all activities related to procurement of commodities, from intent to purchase through delivery.
- Lead the negotiation on complex requests for equipment, products, and services with suppliers.
- Ensure the team and business units comply with Supply Chain policies and procedures.
- Assist the business in handling new development opportunities both within and outside of Macau.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time by the management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- At least 5 years relevant experience in IT Procurement.
- Preferably in hospitality, gaming, large restaurant chains or integrated resort environments.
- Extensive souring and project management experience in procurement of IT category and with global procurement experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate experience in sourcing techniques to provide cost savings while maintaining quality.
- Excellent business, financial and negotiating skills.
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
- Bi-lingual in English and Cantonese is an advantage; a working knowledge of Mandarin would also be advantageous.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
- Knowledge of world class sourcing tools with implementation experience.
Education
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications, major in Business Administration or Supply Chain.
- Recognized professional accreditation, CPM or CPSM.
