Mission
- Ensure the proper execution of the tasks dedicated to the function, in accordance with the policies and procedures in place
- Replace an absent Staff Member within the Section
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and follow up of investigation on behalf of clients with sub-custodians
- Input, verify and confirm every corporate action, coupon, redemption or dividend notification in each market
- Monitor and update if necessary all corporate action events, coupon and dividend payment and redemption
- Credit the income and the corporate action entitlement on the account of the client in due time
- Issue SWIFT messages or faxes to sub-custodians or clients in due time, following the standing instructions
- Investigate and follow up of any cash and securities discrepancy with sub-custodians and clients
- Monitor the tax refund status by market by performing monthly reconciliation
- Maintain the tax refund database
- Perform the monthly security positions reconciliation
- Participate in the QI reporting
- Maintain a good relationship with the sub-custodians
- Solve any mismatching with the concerned counterparty
- Ensure timeliness of client service in accordance with agreed deadlines
- Ensure correct completion of specific services as per contractual agreement
- Maintain highest possible level of client service
- Complete daily, monthly and annual control checklists
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, departmental procedures and legislation
- Accomplish various tasks in a timely and qualitative manner
- Provide administrative support and complete all requested control checklists
- Make proof of sense and sound judgment towards risk awareness
- Inform the Section Head of all risks of error and actual errors as soon as detected and evaluate their impact
- Review specification documents and participate to “UAT” for new developments with direct impact on CA section
Qualifications
Bachelor's in accounting, Banking or Economics, or equivalent experience

Experience in a similar function

- Good knowledge of banking and financial operations
- Excellent overall banking knowledge

- MICROSOFT SUITE
- Proficiency in Custody and Banking Systems
- SWIFT Alliance
