The SEMH SRB programme is a growing family of provisions across Norfolk. SEMH SRBs are provisions of classes of up to 8 pupils attached to mainstream schools offering up to 4 days provision. Pupils are supported through a range of therapeutic approaches to provide an appropriate environment and differentiated provision appropriate for pupils with an identified and complex social, emotional and mental health needs, to enable successful reintegration back to mainstream provision.
The Family Learning Coordinator will plan and oversee support for families. This will involve working collaboratively with the professionals in the SRB and home school, and with parents / carers and their child, to enable an understanding of the families’ needs so that support can be facilitated and to enable the family to engage with, and support, their child’s placement and learning.
The Family Learning Coordinator will build relationships with parents / carers and coordinate the delivery of support and interventions which will help families to become fully immersed with the child’s education and the approaches to help the child thrive at school and home.
