13Business Context: India represents the largest region of S&P Global, and the India People Solutions team comprises of People Services, Regional People Advisory and M&A. The People Services team focuses on implementation of end-to-end hire to retire lifecycle processes and delivery of HR services to colleagues across the region, with a focus on automation, risk management and compliance to consistently deliver a people forward experience, in line with enterprise standards.
The Team: The India People Services Lead role is a people leader role leading a mid-sized team and reporting to the Vice President – People, India. The incumbent is a key member of the India People Solutions leadership team and is expected to work effectively in a matrix functional structure with COEs, Regional People Advisors, M&A and Global People Partners as well as cross-functional business stakeholders (including finance, legal, risk, site leadership, etc.) to create value at a regional and enterprise level.
Expected Role Impact: The incumbent is expected to provide strategic thought leadership and lead the people services team to ensure end-to-end execution and consistent high performance, while catalyzing technology-enabled transformation in process design and continuous improvement in ways of working. They are expected to partner with the India People Solutions ecosystem as well as the global people services and people technology ecosystem to develop best practices and add significant value through advanced process improvements and cutting-edge technology implementation that enable the enterprise people function to be agile and future ready.
Responsibilities:
Drive day-to-day functioning of the India people services team to deliver people operations at scale by ensuring a focus on meeting SLAs with quality, consistency and excellence. Develop and streamline processes to improve the service delivery experience on an ongoing basis. Partner with ServiceNow team to analyze data and trends to look at continuous opportunities for improvement and translate plans into clear outcomes
Ensure compliance and risk management
Envision and transform the people services ecosystem to ensure we are leveraging technology to bring in efficiencies and forward-looking processes. Create impact in India region and partner with other regional people services teams and the enterprise people technology team to catalyze impact globally
Lead the people services team with a focus on clarity, innovation, continuous learning and development to enable team members to grow in line with their purpose and potential, while delivering on enterprise expectations
Collaborate with stakeholders across the people function and business to understand the S&P Global business and operating ecosystems and drive business-relevant solutions
What We Are Looking For:
12-15 years of experience in HR shared services or Operations in large, global, complex, technology-enabled, forward-looking organizations, within the fin-tech industry or large-scale data-based businesses, including employee data management, hire to retire process implementation, benefits administration, compliance, vendor governance, etc.
Essential: Hands-on experience in conceptualizing and leading transformation in processes and ways of working
Essential: Experience in effectively leading mid-sized teams
Master’s degree in HR or Operations or Bachelor’s degree in HR or Operations with significant experience in transformation and HR shared services
Technology-savvy approach and high-degree of proficiency in Workday, Service Now
Strong analytical and data visualization skills. Should be able to understand and leverage complex global data dashboards with foresight to dissect complex problems and create actionable insights/options for business action and impact
Mindset of collaboration, agility and change-readiness, and comfort in dealing with ambiguity
Curiosity to explore and leverage advanced analytics and emerging GenAI-enable capabilities to enhance people services impact
Detailed-oriented approach to getting things done with quality, while delivering with speed
Moderately strong business and financial acumen
Strong appetite for self-driven learning to build own capabilities
Strong influencing skills
