The Junior Business Analyst will work closely with product managers, senior analysts, development, and QA teams to support business analysis and documentation activities related to payment flows and platform features.
This role is designed for candidates who are interested in building expertise in the payments and fintech domain while growing toward an independent Business Analyst role.
Responsibilities:
📊 Business & Product Analysis
Support gathering and clarification of business requirements for payment-related features
Assist in translating business needs into user stories, functional descriptions, and acceptance criteria
Participate in requirements discussions with Product, QA, and Development teams
Support senior analysts in maintaining clear and structured documentation
Support senior analysts in maintaining clear and structured documentation
💳 Payments Domain Learning & Support
Assist in documenting and analyzing card payment flows, basic transaction lifecycle concepts, 3-D Secure (3DS) authentication flows
Learn core concepts of online payments, acquiring, and payment processing
Follow internal compliance and operational guidelines with support from senior team members
🤝 Stakeholder & Team Interaction
Collaborate with internal Product, Development, and QA teams
Participate in meetings with external partners together with senior colleagues
Help clarify integration and business requirements under guidance from experienced team members
📝 Modelling & Documentation
Assist in maintaining process descriptions, flow diagrams, functional and business documentation
Ensure documentation is clear, organized, and up to date
Requirements:
0–1 years of experience in Business Analysis or a related field
Internship, university, or personal project experience is welcome
Interest in fintech, payments, or e-commerce
General understanding of online payments, APIs, and integrations
Strong analytical and communication skills
Attention to detail and structured thinking
Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
Willingness to learn payment processing and acquiring concepts
Adaptable and open to learning new tools and processes
Nice to have:
Familiarity with card payments or e-commerce platforms
Basic understanding of APIs or system integrations
Exposure to Agile or Scrum workflows
Familiarity with BPMN, UML, or flowchart tools
Awareness of European payment regulations such as PSD2 or SCA
