Job Purpose:
To promote the bank’s trade financing solution covering trading trade finance (i.e. LC, Invoice Finance, etc) and factoring solution. To work with relationship manager on capturing trade opportunities and drive facility usage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive trade finance sales activities, initiatives, and achievement of assigned revenue targets
- Work closely with Relationship Manager to identify trade opportunities and provide product expertise in trade and factoring product
- Engage in client call to assess wallet share and identify business opportunities and client presentations
- Maintain close dialogue and build relationship with key trade / factoring customer to drive facility utilization
- Focus on capturing operating flows to generate cross selling and with strong understanding of working capital cycles across clients' import and export ecosystems
- Develop and maintain up-to-date sales materials and product knowledge, adapting quickly to market changes and emerging challenges
Requirements:
- University graduate with minimum 5 years' experience in trade financing field (knowledge of UCP guidelines preferred)
- HKIB Certified Banker would be an advantage
- Holder of ECF Certification CCRP (CL) or ACRP would be an advantage
- Extensive knowledge in trade & factoring products including selling & structuring technique, collateral control & portfolio management
- Strong marketing sense and sound networking skills to ensure smooth implementation and monitoring of business development
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
