Main Responsibilities:
Manages the IT Project Management Office function
Drives quarterly Rolling Forecast Process for effective project prioritization
Enforcement of project discipline, monitoring of project quality, and reporting of project status
Prepares, reviews and reports of project progress against agreed milestones; and achievement of benefits against strategy-driven targets
Formulates the presentation and meeting materials to the Project Management Committee
Works closely with Business Units to identify key drivers to enhance project prioritization workflow and process streamline approaches
Establishes and reviews of project governance structure, guidelines, procedures, documents templates
Tracks benefits realization against planned targets to ensure benefits expected from investments are achieved
Continuously support the bank for driving customer centricity, process excellence, and resources optimization that align with the Bank’s Medium Term Strategy
Promotes new thinking, creative solutions and ways of working to address issues and mitigate risks
Incumbent Requirements:
University degree in Business, Computer Science, Information technology and/or related disciplines
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with at least 3 years of relevant experience in managing technology in the banking or financial industry
Strong understanding of program and project management principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level
Experience in project management work of very large scale IT project, ideally in banking industry
Process oriented with solid experience in policies and procedures establishment, operational control, quality assurance, compliance monitoring and risk management
Strong sense to identify risk and issues, and ability to work to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles
Strong orchestration and design-thinking ability
Motivation to initiate ideas and to formulate plans
Good influencing skills. Ability to identify and connect with stakeholders, and get collective buy-in
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to adapt the style to suit the audience
Good team player strinving for team success and win-win results
