At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Data Management Engineer at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site.
As a Data Management Engineer, you’ll support the transformational rollout of a modern Completions Management System (CMS) across ASTUTE and VANGUARD class submarine maintenance periods at Devonport. The system provides a single point of truth for completion events during inspection, testing and acceptance, significantly improving safety, quality and effectiveness across high‑priority programmes.
Day-to-day, you’ll play a central role in bringing digital capability to critical engineering work, directly improving how we deliver essential defence programmes. It’s a chance to develop your technical expertise, gain exposure across production, commissioning and quality functions, and advance your career in defence, aerospace and engineering.
