Job Description

Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong interest in hospitality? We are looking for a Financial/Business Controller to join our hotel team and act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to senior management. In this dynamic and impactful role with main focus on financial control and audit responsibilities, you support decision-making, identify business opportunities, and drive performance improvement.

Please note that all operational accounting activities are fully outsourced to Accenture.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as Financial/Business Controller, driving business developments and identify business opportunities;
• A significant part of the role involves managing and coordinating audit processes with a high level of responsibility, safeguarding reporting integrity and ensuring all requirements are met.
• Lead accurate month-end closings, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, utilizing the SAP system;
• Provide proactive financial advice to hotel management, supported by risk analysis, trend evaluation, and business insights.
• Review reports and deliver clear, data-driven analyses for decision-making.
• Oversee financial compliance, reporting integrity, and internal controls and ensure contractual and audit requirements are met aligned with company policies and local legislation.
• Support strategic initiatives such as cost optimization and tenders.

Qualifications

Essential ingredients:

• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to advise at operational, tactical and strategic level.
• Proven experience in financial control or business control (within the hotel industry is considered a plus).
• HBO or higher degree in finance, hotel management or a related field.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is considered a plus.
• You have strong expertise in financial analysis and reporting, combined with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic planning to drive business performance.
• Experience working with hotel owners, auditors, and external service providers.
