This role is responsible for leading the OMAR cluster’s transfer pricing requirements, and on an ad-hoc basis, support the broader OML group with transfer pricing matters.

Responsibilities

Mandate 1 (~40%)

1. Transfer Pricing Governance & Policy Governance

• Provide input into the development and updating of the Group’s Transfer Pricing policy and where applicable country policies.
• ­Operationalise the Group’s TP policies to the requisite minimum standards
• ­Monitor deviations from policy and ensure governance around any deviations granted.
• ­Ensure that governance to the policy is maintained and that that the control environment is adequate and applied.

2. Risk Identification & Management

• ­Maintain alignment with Group Tax Strategy and Cluster and country risk appetite
• ­Identify and assess TP risks by jurisdiction, transaction type and business model
• ­Maintain a TP risk register
• ­Provide input into and transactions, business restructurings, new products and operating models.
• ­Communicate any changes in tax law or OECD guidance
• ­Support the management of transfer pricing audits and enquiries by tax authorities, including preparation of responses, supporting documentation, and liaison with external advisors where required

3. Control Framework & Assurance

• ­Define minimum TP controls (design & operation)
• ­Oversee: Outcome testing and consistency checks between policy, contracts and financial results
• ­Design audit‑ready evidence standards
• ­Work with Internal Audit, OMAR and Group Tax, and Group Risk

4. Operating Model Oversight

• Define and enforce a clear RACI for TP responsibilities across Group, Regional, and Business unit operational, finance and tax teams.

­Ensure appropriate segregation of:

• Policy ownership
• Execution
• Data generation
• Review and assurance

 

Mandate 2 (~60%)

1. Manage and deliver transfer pricing compliance requirements and advisory support for the OMAR, including:

• ­Prepare and maintain TP documentation across the cluster
• ­Manage the annual transfer pricing compliance calendar, ensuring all documentation, disclosures, and filing obligations are met on time across each jurisdiction.
• Work with finance teams to produce, manage and execute robust cost allocation outcomes in accordance with TP policy and minimum standards. Define the parameters to maintain cost allocation inputs and enable robust information retention.
• Partner with Finance / Data teams to improve TP data quality, lineage, and automation.
• ­Work with stakeholders to ensure legal agreements are implemented and obtain oversight over intercompany billing.
• ­Produce financial and economic analysis/models to support restructuring and pricing decisions and transfer pricing compliance;
• ­Work with Group Treasury function to align intra group financing arrangements with transfer pricing requirements;
• ­Prepare reports, presentations and other deliverables related to projects;
• ­Performing financial / economic analyses and building financial valuation models;
• ­Assisting with audits / providing tax controversy support;
• ­Researching transfer pricing issues and maintaining up to-date knowledge on transfer pricing globally; 
• ­Provide advice and guidance in the execution of audit activities in relation to Transfer Pricing matters to ensure compliance with relevant;
