The Role
This is a full time and temporary position to join our Major Projects Team, based at our Distribution hub in Uttoxeter. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will assist in all aspects of project administration, and will coordinate with drivers, 3rd party providers, and internal stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of assets.
Responsibilities include;
Project Admin:
· Create purchase orders
· Update and maintain Microsoft Business Central data (full training provided)
· Maintain project spreadsheets
· Monitor route changes and complete system adjustments
· Monitor internal communication channels to escalate delivery issues and collate POD data
· Input POD information received from third party hauliers onto our system, and chase hauliers to provide relevant documents
Communication:
· Liaise with warehouse, asset management, and project management to ensure the project run smoothly
· Assist in resolving any on the job challenges
· Foster good relations with 3rd party providers
· Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve system errors
· Escalate issues in a timely manner
QualificationsEssential Skills & Experience
