POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position: Quality Assurance & Business Analyst
Site: Technoplaza 2, Eastwood
Reporting to: Direct Manager/Supervisor

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
The Business Insights / Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating
business requirements into clear insights, reports, and functional outputs that support decisionmaking. This role is also designed for cross-training into Quality Assurance (QA), where the incumbent
will gradually develop skills in validating systems, reports, and data outputs to ensure accuracy and
quality across business processes.
Business Analysis & Insights
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, or process flows
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data insights to support decision-making
• Identify trends, issues, and opportunities based on data analysis
• Ensure alignment between business needs and delivered outputs
Data Validation & Reporting
• Validate accuracy and consistency of reports and datasets
• Perform basic data checks using Excel and other reporting tools
• Identify discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve issues
• Support data quality improvements across processes
QA Cross-Training Responsibilities
• Learn and apply basic Quality Assurance principles and processes
• Assist in testing reports, dashboards, and system outputs
• Support test case creation and execution under guidance
• Participate in validation of system changes or enhancements
• Gradually take ownership of basic QA tasks as capability develops
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with business, technical, and operations teams
• Communicate findings, issues, and updates clearly to stakeholders
• Support meetings, requirement discussions, and solution alignment

Technical Skills
• Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF functions, data comparison, Power
query) is preferred
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify inconsistencies
• Experience with reporting tools is an advantage (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
QA Readiness (to be developed)
• Logical thinking and structured approach to validation
• Ability to follow processes and identify defects or inconsistencies
• Willingness to learn QA tools and testing methodologies
A BIT ABOUT YOU
• Experience in business analysis, reporting, operations, or data handling preferred
• No prior QA experience required, but strong willingness to learn is essential
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proactive and solution-focused
• Comfortable working in a hybrid analytical and technical environment
• Strong willingness to be cross-trained into QA functions
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Basic knowledge of SQL is an advantage
• Background in process improvement or project management
