The Global Operations Project Manager is responsible for owning the day‑to‑day execution and delivery of global operational and finance‑related initiatives.
This role exists to separate strategy from execution, ensuring complex, detail‑heavy initiatives are delivered in a predictable, high‑quality way — while enabling senior leaders to focus on standardisation, value creation and decision‑making.
The role supports large‑scale transformation programmes such as Project Unify, finance system integrations (e.g. Pronto, Workfront, AEM, reporting platforms), global process roll‑outs and cross‑country operational alignment.
This role will work closely with our Technical Project Management who owns and drives the development phase with the tech team.
This role operates as an extension of VP‑level leadership.
The Global Operations Project Manager will need to work European hours and be open to travel.
Own end‑to‑end delivery of global operational initiatives from planning through rollout
Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and dependencies.
Own deployment planning and execution, coordinate cross-functional teams and capture requirements
Drive execution across multiple workstreams (operations, finance, tech, vendors)
Proactively manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
Ensure delivery remains on track across multiple countries and time zones
Proactively surface delivery risks, trade‑offs and mitigation options
Provide structured status reporting to senior leadership
Can potentially be assigned to take full ownership of specific topics or workstreams, leading them independently and acting as a single point of accountability for successful delivery
Project Unify and related operational tooling ecosystem
Finance systems and reporting integrations
Timesheet and data alignment initiatives
Ensure operational readiness, adoption planning and rollout governance are in place
Act as the central execution lead between Operations, Finance, Tech teams and external partners
Run delivery meetings, working sessions and status updates
Track actions and follow‑ups to ensure accountability and closure
Translate strategic direction into clear, actionable execution plans
Ensure initiatives meet defined scope, quality and readiness criteria prior to rollout
Coordinate testing, rollout sequencing and issue resolution
Escalate delivery risks early with fact‑based options and recommendations
Drive consistency across countries to reduce defects, rework and fragmented solutions
Strong experience owning end‑to‑end delivery of complex operational initiatives, including multi‑stakeholder coordination, dependencies and global roll‑outs
Strong background in project management within operations, finance, or systems‑heavy environments
Experience working with tool ecosystems and integrations rather than single standalone tools
Comfortable operating in transformation environments with incomplete documentation and evolving scope
Act as a trusted delivery partner, not just a task coordinator
Marketing, advertising background preferred but not mandatory
Excellent planning, organisation and delivery discipline
Strong stakeholder management across senior leadership, tech teams and vendors
High attention to detail with the ability to manage complexity at scale
Confident in driving accountability without formal authority
Pragmatic, execution‑oriented mindset — a true “doer”
Proactive, transparent communicator
Calm under pressure with strong follow‑through
Strong delivery discipline and execution rigour
Confident operating with VP‑level stakeholders
