Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer (UK market), you will play a key role in protecting that purpose. You’ll shape how we respond to disruption, manage risk, and make sure essential services stay running for millions of customers. This is a senior leadership role where your work will have a real impact on how we deliver safe, reliable healthcare.
You’ll lead our approach to operational and technology resilience across Bupa’s UK business. That means setting a clear direction, building strong partnerships, and creating an environment where resilience is part of everyday thinking. You’ll also work closely with senior leaders and regulators, helping us stay ahead in a complex and changing world.
Key Responsibilities
Set the direction for operational and technology resilience across Bupa UK
Lead the design and continuous improvement of resilience frameworks, policies and standards
Work closely with senior leaders to align resilience with business goals and risk appetite
Build strong relationships across teams
Provide clear insight and reporting to executive and board-level stakeholders
Oversee how resilience risks are identified, measured and managed
Support regulatory requirements and ensure we meet industry expectations
Lead and develop a high-performing team, supporting growth and development
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience leading operational and technology resilience in a large, regulated environment
Strong understanding of risk management and resilience frameworks
Experience working with financial services regulation and industry standards
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong relationships
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Confidence working in a complex, matrix environment
Ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day delivery
A clear, practical way of explaining complex ideas
