As an Imaging Associate, you will play a key role in preparing, scanning, indexing, and verifying documents to ensure timely and accurate uploads into our systems. You’ll conduct quality checks, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate across departments to support document workflows. This position also involves assisting with training, maintaining compliance standards, and contributing to a positive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, scan, index, and verify documents to ensure accurate and efficient electronic record management
• Perform quality checks on scanned images to maintain high standards of accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Collaborate with internal departments to support document workflows and ensure timely processing of requests
• Communicate professionally via phone and email to follow up on tasks and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships
• Assist with training and re-education of staff on document imaging processes and best practices
• Maintain compliance with documentation standards, HIPAA regulations, and organizational policies related to privacy and security
• Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment while also working independently when needed
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and organizational initiatives as assigned
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• RHIT or RHIA certification preferred
Additional Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, and technical instructions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff and stakeholders
• Basic mathematical skills including working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply logical thinking to follow instructions and solve routine problems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Physical Requirements
• Perform sedentary work involving sitting for extended periods with occasional standing or walking
• Use hands and fingers repetitively for typing, scanning, and document handling
• Lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally
• Maintain focus and accuracy during repetitive tasks throughout the workday
