Description -
The sustainability leader will be responsible for all aspects of sustainability success in the PS organization. Sustainability leader will drive the creation and execution of HP PS’s Sustainability strategy. Sustainability is a portfolio/product feature to address customer needs, HP goals, strategic differentiation…. etc.
Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver PS Sustainability Strategy, based on customer and market insight.
• Continue to maintain HP’s leadership and recognition of sustainability with innovation and new ideas
• Maintain and build on sustainability as a part of HP’s responsible legacy and brand value
• Identify and explore sustainability ideas that reduce the carbon footprint of HP PS products (So what part of the strategic goal)
• Review status and progress quarterly with PS Leadership with detailed Quarterly Reviews
Tasks for successful strategic implementation:
• Aligning with PS Product Planners on goals and objectives
• Work with the engineering and architecture teams to come up with viable solutions
• Work with product managers, supply chain and others to manage/balance cost implications with market/customer value
• Work closely with the sales/marketing/TC teams to convey the value and benefits of HP’s sustainability strategy
• Focus on industry leadership and competitive differentiation
• Monitor and react to constantly evolving compliance requirements
• Engage with major customers regularly to gather feedback and input on future steps
Main identified tasks for sustainability success are:
• Product features (materials, hardware & software)
• Packaging and Logistics
• Renewable-Green energy usage
• Carbon reduction and tracking
• Customer engagement with direct communication
• Sustainability marketing and content creation, distribution & management

• Highly knowledgeable of product planning and management activities
• Proven roadmap of product planning success
• 7+ years’ experience in product marketing fundamentals
• Demonstrated knowledge of marketing function
• Build strong relationships with various linked organizations needed for success
• Maintain a strong team. Attract and retain impactful employees.
The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
