

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Specialist Service Management IT reporting to Executive Manager Field and Network System Operations. This is a Fixed-term opportunity.
A bit about your role
The Senior Specialist – Service Management IT is responsible for defining and assuring IT access management controls aligned to industry frameworks and organisational standards. With a 12-month planning horizon, the role focuses on improving control effectiveness, governance, and adoption across the business.
You will partner with security, delivery, and business teams to develop access control frameworks, lead assurance activities, and drive continuous improvement through automation and better practices. The role also supports stakeholder education and contributes to uplift in control maturity, reporting, and performance metrics.
A bit about you
You are an experienced security or service management professional with strong expertise in IT access management, controls, and governance. You bring the ability to translate strategy into practical outcomes, solve complex problems, and influence stakeholders across the organisation.
With experience in Security, Operations, or Process Controls, you’re confident working with frameworks, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement. Knowledge of ITIL and relevant certifications (CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are highly regarded.
