We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Lease Specialist. This role will report to the Senior Manager Property and Environment.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Lease Specialist, you will bring deep expertise to the management of nbn’s Fixed Wireless property portfolio, supporting more than 2,000 sites nationally. You will play a central role in shaping and safeguarding the commercial and legal foundations that enable the network to perform reliably, managing complex leasing, land access and supplier arrangements with care, precision and integrity.
In this role, you will guide end-to-end lease and licence governance, navigating complex change of ownership matters, validating commercial documentation and ensuring compliance with legal, financial and audit requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance and Site Acquisition, as well as external partners such as leasing agents and service providers, to bring clarity and alignment to intricate processes. Your ability to thoughtfully manage supplier relationships, resolve escalations and improve workflows will help strengthen operations, reduce risk and enhance the experience for landowners and partners alike. Through your work, you will actively contribute to the stability and resilience of nbn’s Fixed Wireless network, ensuring every agreement and interaction is handled with diligence and purpose.

You are a thoughtful collaborator who builds trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, bringing people together to solve problems and move work forward. Your attentive and organised approach ensures accuracy across documentation, financial processes and supplier data, while your curiosity and initiative help you identify opportunities to improve systems and ways of working.
