Associate | Commercial Litigation & Insurance

About the role

You will be a valued and integral member of a high-performing Commercial Litigation & Insurance team. Working closely with the Principals, you will play a key role in managing a diverse range of matters, including commercial litigation, insurance coverage and indemnity disputes, life insurance and professional indemnity claims. The practice has a strong focus on acting for insurers (across life insurance and general claims), alongside broader commercial disputes, often involving complex, multi-party proceedings.

You will gain exposure to high-value and strategically significant matters that require a pragmatic, commercially focused approach to dispute resolution. This role is well suited to an Associate looking to build on their litigation or insurance experience, deepen their expertise, and contribute to client strategy, business development, and the continued growth of a dynamic and collaborative practice.

About you

You will thrive in this role if you are self-motivated, have a high level of attention to detail, display initiative and possess strong time-management and multi-tasking skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years’ post admission experience in a high-performing commercial litigation team working on a variety of complex matters
• Excellent communication skills
• A high level of technical excellence.
• Advanced problem solving skills and a pragmatic, commercial approach to work.
• A passion to develop and maintain meaningful client relationships.
