About the team and role:
A Market Announcements Officer is an integral part of the team and broader Markets Division that is responsible for operating fair, orderly and transparent markets across ASX trading environments and monitoring continuous disclosure for ASX Listed Entities.
MAO is a business unit within the Markets Division responsible for receiving, processing, releasing and storing announcements by or about ASX Listed entities and the Issuers of other ASX quoted products.
What you will be doing:
On a daily basis, you will receive, process and release Market Announcements
Perform quality control checks and take appropriate action to resolve issues
Perform and manage Trading Halts, Suspensions and Re-Instatements
Assist with managing Listed Entity Compliance with Periodic Reporting Deadlines
Identify, support and participate in knowledge management activities and subject matter expertise development
What you will bring:
Must have
Gained an understanding of the Australian Equity Markets
Some exposure to Financial Markets e.g in a broking or market operations environment
Delivered an exceptional experience for internal and external customers
Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills
Nice to have:
Awareness of the corporate and legal implications of the role
Some previous exposure to listed products or governing rules
