Position Overview: The AR Specialist is responsible for managing and collecting accounts receivable by sending payment reminders, following up with customers via email and telephone, and escalating issues when required. The role involves extensive interaction with multiple internal departments to support timely collections, accurate billing, and effective cash flow management. Functions and Responsibilities: • Send out SOA via email to Customers. • Collect and contact via email or phone calls on all past due accounts, concentrating more time and effort on those with the highest past due balances on assigned accounts. • Establish customer contact and maintain weekly communication with customer contact for payment on invoices per established terms. • Respond to customer questions through extensive research in Service Engine/AMOS and with other internal departments, i.e. Client Finance, Operations, Account Management and Directors. • Provide additional information when requested and work with departments to revise billings when needed. • Regularly update of Account Receivable Trackers, Customer Master Data and Queueing • Also provide support to the cash posting department on details relating to customer payments. • Monitor and coordinate with other department, escalate to AR Team Lead for any issues related to AR. • Perform other duties as assigned (e.g. Debtor Account creation, Vendor Form Completion, Invoice Submission and Audit, Process Improvements, Quality Assurance and agreed processes related and non-related to AR).
Qualifications and Preferred Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree required (B.S. in Accountancy preferred) • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections • Strong understanding of global AR best practices • Exposure to Europe and U.S. markets preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and supplier portal platforms • Strong ability to prioritise and multitask with high attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Apply Now If this sounds like your type of role, then please submit your application via the APPLY now option and complete all necessary information.
