HOURY WAGE: The pay scale for this position is $22.36 - $24.84. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
SHIFT: Monday thru Thursday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate material handling equipment.
- Operate packaging tools (machine and hand)
- Using RF devices for accurate material tracking
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous warehouse and forklift/side loader experience.
- High school education or GED desired.
- Good mathematical competencies.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Able to read a tape measure to the sixteenth. Experience with micrometers and calipers
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must have excellent attendance, be on time for work, and dependable.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, and health & safety.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
- Experience using computers.
- Experience with cutting and banding equipment is a plus.
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment including forklift. Able to operate a side loader/crane a plus – Must pass evaluation before working independently.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to spend 80% of the day standing.
- Ability to bend, stoop, push and pull.
- Ability to climb into and out of side loaders and fork trucks.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (22.7kg) maximum occasionally with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs (11.3kg).
