About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As Desktop Support Manager, you’ll lead a team of Desktop Engineers and play a key role in delivering a great digital experience for ACC users. Working closely with the Manager, Digital Workspace & Engineering, you’ll provide people leadership, technical expertise and oversight across our Desktop Platform and Digital Workspace services.
You’ll be the technical escalation point for complex issues across Windows, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and mobile platforms, while supporting business users through both remote and onsite services. With a strong focus on customer experience and continuous improvement, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure our tools, services and ways of working enable our people to do their best work.

You’re an experienced digital workspace professional with strong enterprise level technical skills and a passion for supporting and developing others. You enjoy working in complex environments, balancing hands on expertise with coaching, collaboration and continuous improvement.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience leading technical support engineers
Significant experience supporting Windows, Intune and Microsoft 365 in large enterprise environments
Proven experience providing senior technical support, escalation and resolution
Hands on experience with PowerShell, Intune, application support and application packaging tools
Experience supporting Windows and mobile operating systems
Strong experience across Office 365 workloads, including OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams
Demonstrated expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure Active Directory and ADFS
Strong organisational skills, with experience planning and delivering large‑scale technical changes
A customer focus and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to lead change, drive innovation and contribute positively to team performance

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $117,787 and $138,573 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
