Principal Account Executive, Education and Careers

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 11 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  
• Experience with Google Ad Solutions, specifically Search and Video.
• Ability to promote/propose creative technologies across a landscape of various decision makers.
• Ability to develop joint business plans in an ambiguous environments, influence/collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.
• Excellent tactical thinking skills, systems thinking, and the ability to align strategies to deliver customer business outcomes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Develop effective relationships with the Chief-level (C-level) and key stakeholders at the client and with agency partners. Become a trusted advisor to grow partnerships. Lead meetings with clients and agencies to understand client business models, goals, and marketing objectives.
• Grow business and expand marketing investment within the Education industry through client-first consultative selling, innovative problem solving, and relationship building. Educate and inspire client and agency partners with our data, technology, and advertising solutions.
  
• Develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify and develop forward-thinking data analysis and recommendations for our clients.
  
• Plan and achieve business growth goals through presenting Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
