NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Gift Shop Associate at ByoDo-In Temple in Kaneohe Hawaii. Full time associate benefits are medical, dental & vision insurance. Competitive pay, must be available weekends with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Great & assist customers ensuring they have a positive experience
- Maintain the flow of customers waiting in line to check out
- Maintain store cleanliness & organization, restock shelves & merchandising to ensure proper product display
- Merchandising & inventory, conduct stock checks, receive & process shipments
- Provide product & cultural knowledge
- Accurately & efficiently operate Point of Sales system to handle sales transactions & returns
- Support & collaborate as a team member
Qualifications
- Ability to work within a team
- Reliable & punctual with a strong work ethic
- Highly Self-motivated
- Positive, friendly and respectful attitude
- Willingness to learn, able to take direction
- Basic math skills
- Retail & Customer service experience preferred (not required)
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods & lift up to 40lbs
