- Lead instructional coaching cycles to empower teachers in embedding differentiation strategies.
- Partner with PLCs to ensure robust support for gifted learners throughout the week.
- Manage universal screening processes and collect 'Body of Evidence' for gifted education.
- Facilitate the development of Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs) with measurable goals.
- Provide direct instruction to address the academic and social-emotional needs of gifted students during dedicated W.I.N. time.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations while fostering an innovative and challenging learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate high-level differentiation into Tier 1 instruction.
- Support the creation and implementation of individualized learning plans for gifted students.
- Stay updated on best practices and research in gifted education to enhance instructional strategies.
- A valid teaching license with an endorsement in gifted education or a willingness to obtain one.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a gifted and talented program.
- Strong instructional leadership skills and a passion for coaching and mentoring teachers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of differentiated instruction and its application in the classroom.
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning and instructional practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on research in the field.
