Job Description
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven People & Culture Advisor to join our team on a full-time basis, based in our Brisbane CBD Corporate Office.
In this role, you will partner with a diverse portfolio of hotels across Australia and New Zealand, delivering end-to-end HR support, practical guidance, and commercially focused advice. You will work closely with a high-performing team of P&C professionals, contributing to a consistent and high-quality employee experience across the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing clear, practical HR advice aligned to policy and legislation
- Building strong stakeholder relationships across a multi-site ANZ portfolio
- Leading employee relations matters with a balanced, solutions-focused approach
- Supporting performance and development initiatives to lift capability
- Driving compliance with employment law, awards, and company standards
- Supporting labour cost control and workforce management outcomes
- Assisting with visa and sponsorship processes
- Contributing to team alignment, consistency, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, with 5+ years’ HR generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation (NZ exposure highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the business
- Proven capability in managing employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgement
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the resilience to navigate change and complexity
- High levels of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information
