As we continue to grow, we
are looking for an experienced Trade Sales Representative to support customer
relationships, drive sales growth, and contribute to branch performance across
the business.
About the Role
The Trade Sales
Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining strong
relationships with trade customers while driving sales growth across Glass
Outlet’s product range.
Working closely with branch
operations, warehouse, and customer service teams, this role focuses on
identifying new business opportunities, supporting existing customers, and
delivering a high level of customer service and product knowledge. This is a customer-focused
role that plays a key part in strengthening customer partnerships, increasing
revenue, and supporting the growth of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth &
Business Development
- Drive business growth through active conversion of
walk-in trade opportunities
- Identify and develop new trade accounts and business
opportunities
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to
support ongoing projects and grow sales
- Promote Glass Outlet products and solutions to increase
customer spend
Trade Customer
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders,
contractors, installers, and fabricators
- Provide product advice and technical guidance to
customers
- Deliver high levels of customer service and
responsiveness
Customer Service &
Sales Support
- Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and
order enquiries
- Process orders accurately and efficiently
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to
support delivery timelines
Branch Sales Performance
- Contribute to branch sales targets and revenue growth
- Maintain strong product knowledge across Glass Outlet’s
product range
- Support promotional activities and product launches
Cross Functional
Collaboration
- Work closely with branch operations, warehouse, and
customer service teams
- Communicate customer feedback and market demand to the
broader business
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across
customer service and sales processes
About You
Trade qualifications or hands-on experience within
fencing, construction, or related trades will be highly regarded but are not
essential. This role would suit someone looking to transition off the tools
into a customer-focused trade sales position
You will bring:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and
drive sales outcomes
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and
order processing systems
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple
departments
- Experience within building products, construction,
manufacturing, glass, aluminium, or distribution industries will be highly
regarded.
