Learn the basic functions of a green coffee commodity contract and aspects of the Green Coffee Association standard contract terms and conditions.
Learn how S&D works across its supply chain operations and the various key departments (Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Logistics, etc.).
Learn and assist with green coffee logistics operations including inventory management, delivery orders, etc.
Assist in documentation verification of supply contracts and confirmations.
Support compliance requirements of supply contracts and invoices.
Assist with auditing and traceability needs for major certifications such as Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade, organic, and UTZ.
Complete stand-alone project as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Rising college Junior, Senior or recent graduate with a major from one of the following areas: Agricultural Economics, Economics, Finance, Business (with a particular focus on International), or a relevant science discipline.
Experience in a service industry.
General knowledge of global agricultural production systems, international economics, logistics, and/or other relevant international business topics.
Interest and preferably international experience such as Study Abroad program.
Foreign language preferred (particularly Spanish).
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, ability to manipulate spreadsheets and use web-based and other computer-based inventory tools.
