Job Purpose
The OTC & Wellness Marketing Lead is a critical leadership role responsible for driving brand performance, ensuring flawless execution of global and regional strategies, and accelerating OTC & Wellness category growth in Türkiye. Acting as the strategic connector between the Operating Unit (OU) and the local market, this role ensures brands win with consumers, shoppers, customers, physicians, and pharmacists through strong commercial discipline, impactful activation, and high‑performing team leadership. The role holds accountability to the Local General Manager for OTC & Wellness category performance and executional delivery in the local market, partnering closely with the local leadership team to align local priorities, decisions, and execution.
Role Responsibilities
- Execute all local marketing activities based on plans developed by the global category and OU teams, ensuring flawless in‑market delivery of OU‑led brand plans across all channels.
- Drive strong financial and commercial discipline across brand activation; manage and optimise A&P investments with a clear ROI focus, ensuring rigorous tracking of spend and performance against agreed financial and commercial KPIs across both OU and Cluster teams.
- Deliver in‑year brand performance while ensuring long‑term brand strategies guide short‑term execution decisions.
- Amplify local marketing plans through relevant customer and shopper activations tailored to Türkiye market dynamics.
- Provide the OU team with key market learnings, insights, and activation feedback to inform the tailoring of global priorities, plans, and assets for the OU and local markets.
- Lead, coach, and develop the brand activation team, ensuring delivery of all brand KPIs including financials, consumption, penetration, brand health, and innovation pipeline execution.
- Collaborate closely with local cross‑functional teams, including Shopper & Customer Marketing, NRM & SFE, Sales, Medical, and Regulatory, to ensure integrated and effective activation.
- Foster a culture of capability building, accountability, and high performance through clear expectations, continuous feedback, and development aligned with OU objectives.
- Support local Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) processes and performance tracking rhythms.
- Develop accurate category growth forecasts, update them monthly, and integrate them into planning and performance management processes in alignment with OU expectations.
- Be accountable to the Local General Manager for OTC & Wellness category performance, commercial delivery, and executional excellence in the local market.
Expert Engagement Responsibilities
- Ensure strong coordination with the Physician & Pharmacist Detailing Team, who are responsible for OTC & Wellness product detailing and expert‑facing engagement activities.
- Provide strategic direction, brand priorities, and activation guidance to the detailing team to ensure physician and pharmacist execution aligns with brand strategy and commercial objectives.
- Collaborate with the detailing team’s direct leader to ensure consistent messaging, aligned KPIs, and seamless execution across all expert‑facing touchpoints.
- Oversee the planning and content alignment of expert engagement activities such as webinars, educational programs, scientific sessions, and professional events, ensuring they reflect brand strategy and scientific narratives.
- Leverage insights and feedback from physicians and pharmacists to refine OTC & Wellness activation strategies and strengthen brand credibility and recommendation.
- Ensure expert‑facing activities contribute to brand penetration, visibility, recommendation, and long‑term category leadership.

- Proven experience in a marketing role with a strong focus on brand activation and in‑market execution.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams to achieve performance targets.
- Strong understanding of brand building, campaign deployment, and the broader marketing ecosystem.
- Solid commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing brand KPIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in related field.

- Experience working in a matrix organisation, collaborating effectively with regional/global teams and local cross‑functional partners.
- Ability to interpret market data, consumer and shopper insights, and competitive dynamics to refine execution strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment and drive decisions forward.
- Comfortable operating in a complex and ambiguous environment.
