Responsibilities
AI-Augmented Social Marketing & Strategy
Support the development of social marketing strategies across owned channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.).
Coordinate day-to-day publishing operations, including asset routing, copy adaptation, QA, and tagging.
Oversee the automated segmentation and tagging of social content to improve performance tracking and reporting efficiency.
Membership & Lifecycle Optimization
Design and optimize member lifecycle journeys (onboarding, engagement, retention) by using AI-assisted analysis to identify friction points in user behavior.
Collaborate with the CRM team on membership campaigns, including exclusive offers and events.
Implement AI-driven workflows to automate repetitive membership reporting and basic data visualization, allowing for faster decision-making.
Work with analytics partners to track and influence KPIs including member growth and churn.
Product Marketing & GTM Execution
Translate complex product positioning into social-first narratives, using prompt engineering to iterate on messaging for diverse audience segments.
Support new product/feature launches (GTM) by translating business goals into campaign plans.
Collaborate with Product and Data teams to leverage internal insights for user acquisition and activation.
AI Governance & Mindset
Continuously experiment with emerging Generative AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, Adobe Firefly) to reduce manual creative iterations and improve speed-to-market.
Exercise critical judgment when reviewing AI-generated outputs, ensuring all content adheres to Yahoo’s brand voice, ethical standards, and data privacy policies.
Stay current on AI marketing trends and proactively suggest new tools or workflows to improve team productivity.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, product marketing, and membership, preferably in technology, media, or advertising industry.
Proven ability to integrate Generative AI tools into daily creative and strategic workflows.
Hands-on experience managing brand channels across major platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok or equivalents).
Strong competency in AI-assisted copywriting capable of refining and validating AI-generated copy to ensure high-quality, on-brand messaging.
Experience with membership or loyalty programs, including lifecycle journey mapping.
Proficiency in using AI-driven social management and analytics platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social) for sentiment analysis and trend detection.
Data-literate, with the ability to interpret engagement and funnel metrics to drive recommendations.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects with minimal guidance.
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Canva; experience with AI-enabled features in these tools is a plus.
BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
