

Description
Under the direction of the Director of Student Engagement and Leadership, this position provides confidential administrative support and coordination services to the Office of Student Services by assisting with correspondence and other projects, providing support and assistance to students, and serving as the primary contact for the various constituencies of the college. This position is student-centered and is a point of contact for students seeking Student Services related services and ensures that students have positive interactions with the office that directly impact their academic and social engagement and retention. This is a rewarding and challenging position that requires an experienced individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and can multi-task effectively.

Essential Functions:

Job Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or GED required, associate or college degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years of administrative secretarial experience or equivalent. Previous experience with marketing is preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Exchange, Jenzabar (Student Services and Registration modules), and Infomaker; proficiency in using general office machines, i.e. multi-line phone, copier, and FAX machine; ability to perform general clerical duties of typing and filing; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to work as a part of a team; ability to prioritize tasks; and ability to deal with fast-paced office environment with many interruptions.
