Job Description
The Reporting and Analytics Graduate Programme is tailored for graduates who are passionate about data, analytics, and financial services. Through this programme, you will gain exposure to the bank’s core business areas, data ecosystems, and reporting frameworks, while developing the technical expertise and professional skills needed to excel as an analyst in a dynamic, regulated environment.
Key features of the programme include:
- Structured Rotations: Graduates will rotate across multiple business units to understand how data drives decision-making across the bank.
- Technical Training: Intensive training in SQL, Power BI, Python, and data warehousing, alongside exposure to emerging technologies such as cloud-based analytics and AI-driven insights.
- Professional Development: Workshops on communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving to ensure that you can translate data into actionable business intelligence.

Key responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple systems.
- Apply analytical techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and regular MI reports using tools such as SQL and Power BI.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business units (Finance, Coverage (Network), Segment (Customer Solutions), Risk) to understand their information needs.
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support decision-making by providing timely and relevant outputs.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and data flows.
- Contribute to projects that improve data quality, governance, and accessibility.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and analytical methods to drive innovation.
Compliance & Risk Awareness
- Ensure outputs meet regulatory requirements and internal audit standards.
- Support risk management teams by providing accurate and timely data insights.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
Professional Development
- Participate in structured training programmes covering technical, analytical, and soft skills.
- Engage in mentorship and coaching sessions to build career readiness.

Postgraduate qualification (recently completed or completing in 2026)

Additional Information
Minimum requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Should you have work experience, it should not exceed 12 months.
- Full academic transcripts to be submitted with application for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
