Location: Kahului, Hawaiʻi
Department: Energy
Reports to: Chief Estimator
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annual base salary
Alpha Inc. is looking for a Senior Bid Coordinator who knows that winning work starts long before bid day.
This is not a “push paper and chase signatures” role. This is the command center for disciplined pursuit execution — the person who keeps deadlines tight, documents clean, subcontractors moving, estimators supported, and every submission buttoned up before it leaves the building.
You’ll sit at the intersection of estimating, operations, leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, agencies, and clients — turning messy bid requirements into clear action, scattered information into organized pursuit strategy, and last-minute pressure into calm, controlled execution.
If you’re the kind of person who reads the fine print, sees the risk before everyone else does, and refuses to let a bid go out sloppy — this is your lane.
Founded and grown in Hawaiʻi, Alpha Inc. is a locally owned construction company serving communities across the islands through heavy civil construction, drilling, underground utilities, concrete construction, and renewable energy solutions. We build work that matters — infrastructure, energy, and critical systems that support Hawaiʻi today and for generations to come.
We live by three core values that shape how we show up, compete, and deliver:
Leading with Heart – We operate with humility, accountability, respect, and care for our people, partners, and communities.
Strength in Unity – We win as one team, through open communication, collaboration, and shared ownership.
Alpha Mentality – We bring grit, character, growth mindset, and an uncompromising standard to everything we do.
As Senior Bid Coordinator, you’ll help protect that standard before the work is ever awarded.
As Senior Bid Coordinator, you’ll be a key force behind Alpha’s estimating and business development execution for Energy and related construction pursuits. You’ll coordinate the bid process from opportunity tracking through final submission, making sure nothing falls through the cracks and every proposal reflects the professionalism, precision, and competitiveness Alpha is known for.
Most importantly, you embody:
Leading with Heart – You treat people with respect, communicate clearly, and bring professionalism to every interaction.
Strength in Unity – You connect teams, keep information moving, and make collaboration easier for everyone around you.
Alpha Mentality – You prepare hard, execute clean, own the details, and never compromise the standard.
At Alpha Inc., we’re not just chasing projects — we’re building Hawaiʻi’s future with purpose, grit, and pride.
You’ll join a team that:
Takes on meaningful energy, infrastructure, and construction work that serves local communities.
Values preparation, accountability, safety, quality, and follow-through.
Believes culture is a competitive advantage — and that the best teams win before bid day because they prepare better than everyone else.
This is a role for someone who wants to be close to the action, trusted by leadership, and essential to how Alpha wins the right work.
