Te Tūranga – About the role
As a Supply Planning Specialist, you’ll be part of a high‑performing DC Replenishment team responsible for optimising the flow of stock from suppliers through to our Distribution Centres and stores.
This is a fast‑paced, dynamic role where you’ll balance service, cost, and efficiency while partnering closely with Merchandise, DC Operations, Transport, Suppliers, and third‑party providers.
You’ll be responsible for:
Participating in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and supporting seasonal and promotional stock strategies
Managing forecasts, stock flow, and safety stock settings to optimise availability and minimise waste
Coordinating end‑to‑end source of supply changes and supporting large‑scale supply chain projects
Managing a small buying portfolio
Analysing inbound volumes, supplier performance, and identifying process improvement opportunities
Acting as a key liaison between suppliers, DCs, and internal stakeholders to resolve inbound issues
You’ll report to the Group Supply Planning Manager and work alongside a collaborative team of supply planning specialists.
It will be of great advantage if you have previous buying experience and if this job is of interest to you, there is the opportunity to shape the role according to your strengths and abilities.
