The Role
Fisher & Paykel is an iconic New Zealand brand, a global company with a strong local heritage. Our origins inspire our culture of curiosity and passion to develop solutions designed around people - these are some of the core elements that make us unique.
We are driven by our values of being trusted, sustainably minded, innovative, generous, and curious. As a team we take a collaborative approach and have a working environment where all ideas are heard, evaluated, and tested against our leading goal - to be the world's most human-centered appliance brand.
We’re entering a bold new chapter in our journey. Across Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, we’re bringing to life a world-class, three-site campus - our Global Headquarters in Penrose, Distribution Centre in East Tāmaki, and our landmark Global Experience Centre in Grey Lynn. Together, these hubs will connect our people to our purpose, creating a centre of excellence for design, innovation, and storytelling in Aotearoa.
About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager to lead our onsite hospitality experience and create an environment where great food, service, and people come together. This role is all about delivering high-quality, fresh, and innovative food and beverage offerings that enhance the day-to-day experience of our people and visitors. You’ll take ownership of all onsite catering operations - from the café to events - while driving operational excellence, building a high-performing team, and continuously improving our service through creativity and industry insight.
What You’ll Be Doing
Bringing our food vision to life by designing and delivering fresh, balanced, and appealing menus that people genuinely enjoy.
Leading day-to-day food service operations, ensuring everything we serve meets high standards for quality, presentation, and consistency.
Creating seamless catering experiences for meetings and events, with flexibility to support business needs as they arise.
Championing food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for all.
Managing stock, suppliers, and purchasing to strike the right balance between quality, sustainability, and cost.
Owning financial performance by managing budgets, pricing strategies, and identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Inspiring and developing your team - creating a culture that’s collaborative, customer-focused, and proud of what they deliver every day.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience managing a corporate cafeteria, hospitality venue, or similar food service operation.
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Relevant qualification (e.g., Diploma in Culinary Arts or Advanced Cookery preferred).
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive operational efficiencies.
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
Strong customer focus, with the ability to enhance service delivery and respond to feedback and trends.
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What we offer
Our environment is designed to help our people thrive. We foster a culture of continuous growth, where you’ll work alongside talented, supportive professionals and be encouraged to keep developing your skills. At Fisher & Paykel, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of opportunities across a global organisation, enabling you to broaden your experience and shape your career.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, team-oriented culture that offers strong development opportunities, a supportive and challenging work environment, and access to leading technologies. We also offer a great work-life balance, competitive remuneration, a superannuation scheme, and on-site benefits including a subsidised cafeteria (Auckland) and free car parking.
